Indoor cycling training during lockdown – what to wear?

Train indoors with our Sustainable Forever Tee and Cycling Bib Short combination.

Here we go again! As we embrace the second national lockdown of 2020 we know that it is a time of great uncertainty for everyone, us included. We hope everyone is staying well, and where possible can keep training because it makes such a difference physically and mentally.

The good news is that we can still get outdoors and even meet up with one other, but we know that this may not always be possible, especially if you are self-isolating or simply can’t get out to train.

So what’s the best kit for indoor sessions?

Turbo training can be hot and repetitive. Especially if you’re moving from outdoor to indoor sessions, you’re going to notice the difference and comfort is all. Especially in your bibs. You need a really comfy chamois and you need breathable materials, because you’re going to get hot and you’re going to get sweaty! With turbo training, there is often less time up and out of the seat so you could be sat in the saddle for an hour, or an hour and a half, and you’re going to need to be comfortable.

We’ve got you! Our cycling bib shorts are made from performance recycled materials and were recently described by ex-pro rider, Tim Torrie, as the most comfortable bib short you will ever wear - we don’t disagree! Created for athletes that like to push themselves, close fitting, breathable and with muscle compression fabric for comfort and support, they will boost you on your toughest challenges. Most importantly, the gender-specific premium chamois is super comfortable and won’t rub or chaff and all of our kit is designed to last.

So with bibs sorted, what do you wear on top? We have recently launched our Forever Tee – the first item of clothing we have launched in our 100% recycled, 100% recyclable range. Super soft, breathable, light and wicking this is perfect for indoor training for maximum comfort. It also looks good, so will take you through from zoom to zwift! Sportswear that goes further.
Let’s power through this lockdown!
