These cycling style shorts are light for summer runs. I am a size 10/12 and bought a medium which fits well. The length is good and the shorts don’t ride up when running.
The shorts can be tightened using the drawstring. The pocket at the rear is large enough for a phone and keys but comes without a zip. Although a phone might not stay secure!
