bristol bike stops

With Bristol being our base, we got on our bikes and visited some of our local independent bike shops so you are "in the know", we've rated on good coffee & snacks, good chat and sustainability.

If we've missed a shop you think we should know about, drop us an email and we'll pay them a visit.

Renowned as one of Europe's most bike-friendly destinations, Bristol boasts some impressive cycling routes such as the Bristol to Bath cycling path (a 13.9-mile trip that snakes through the stunning countryside) and the Bristol to Portishead route (with most of the route running alongside the River Avon). Bristol is also home to some of the best coffee roasteries in the UK.

how we rate

It's simple really, we ride our bikes to independents, take a look around, grab a coffee and have a chat and rate on the following criteria:

Great: Worth a visit for this alone
Good: Not great, but clearly trying
It's a start: the thought is there but not quite there yet
